Biography: Asad Naqvi is currently a lecturer (assistant professor) at the University of Wales, Swansea. He is a theoretical physicist with a PhD from MIT in theoretical particle physics (specializing in string theory); a BS with a double major in Physics and Electrical Engineering from MIT; and school degrees from Karachi. After holding post-doctoral positions at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Amsterdam, he joined the University of Wales, Swansea in October 2005.
