Biography:
Dr. Shafay Shamail completed his BSc Electrical
Engineering from UET Lahore in 1985, MSc
Electronics from University of Wales in
1987, and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering
from University of Bath U.K in 1990. Before
joining LUMS Dr Shamail worked in both the
Software industry as well as the academia.
During his stay at Soft Net Systems, he
gained experience in e-commerce technologies,
especially those from Microsoft. Dr. Shamail
has taught at UET Lahore as well as at Pak-AIMS,
mostly at the undergraduate level and has
a vast experience of curriculum design and
implementation. He is a member of IEEE.
