Aid
LUMS SSE believes that no one should
be deprived of an education due to financial
constraints. Therefore, SSE follows a need-blind
admission policy; which means financial
situation is not a factor while determining
admission.
Our admission fees should not be a concern
in your decision to apply or enroll here
since financial aid is guaranteed to
every admitted student who has a genuine
need. Admission decisions are made solely on the strength
of your application and our assessment of
your academic strength and intellectual
promise.
Once you are admitted, the Financial Aid
Office will determine your financial need
based on a variety of factors and create
a customized aid package. Financial assistance,
up to full fee waivers will be available.
This will ensure that monetary matters do
not become an issue during your time at
LUMS SSE.
Financial
Aid for International Applicants
For domestic students, with a genuine need
who are granted admission, financial aid
is guaranteed. For international students
however, our funds are limited and we might
offer partial aid, at best.
However, your request for financial aid
does not impact the evaluation of your application
or the pre-screening stage of the admissions
process in any way. We will only refer to
your financial aid request (if you have
submitted one) in the event that you are
admitted to our program. Please note that
this means there will be international students
who are admitted, but their requests for
financial aid are not granted.
Note: Please note that our Financial Aid Form is paper-based and cannot be submitted electronically. It can be sent by postal mail only. The deadline for receipt of the Financial Aid Form at the SSE Admissions Office is April 12, 2009.
